Artist's Description
This is some ruins outside the studio of Howard Chandler Christy. He wrote several books and was one of the artists that did recruitment posters during WWI. This was taken outside his studio in Philo, Ohio. The studio is still standing and very interesting to visit.
It is currently owned by a pair of great artists named Jaye and Melodie Hayes. They have a huge property that they often host artists on. There is an abundance of subjects to paint and photograph.
If you're in the area, you should definitely contact them for a tour.

Artist Statement & Biography David G. Yocum 740.697.0674 dyocum@yarcadian.com www.davidgyocum.com I am creating images that will make you think, wonder, and look at the many facets of life, nature, and the everyday objects around us with a different perspective. It is important for me to only use my own photographs, as it makes the work completely my own. I rarely know exactly where I am going to go when I start my creative process. The best way to describe it is that I experiment with the image until I feel I am heading in the right...
